CAT: List of files (Linux/Mac)

CD: Change current working directory (Windows/Linux/Mac)

[fmlast01@indianatech2.net ~]$ cd anotherdirectory

Also cd ~ for home directory, cd .. for parent directory, and cd - for previous directory.

CLEAR: Clears the screen of all text (Linux/Mac)

COLOR: Sets the console background and foreground colors (Windows)

C:/> color f0

Where 0 = Black, 1 = Blue, 2 = Green, 3 = Aqua, 4 = Red, 5 = Purple, 6 = Yellow, 7 = White, 8 = Gray, 9 = Light blue, A = Light green, B = Light aqua, C = Light red, D = Light purple, E = Light yellow, and F = Bright white.

COPY: Copies files from one location to another (Windows)

Also, use findstr for regular expressions.

Also less somefile allows backward movement in the file (Linux/Mac).

Also will create a new file when used alone.
